WA5LEE De, N5LYS Greetings 🤠 from Pasadena! I am also affiliated with ARES (District #14). I am getting my feet in the water with FT8 and DMR. I am hoping that I can find a fellow Amateur Radio Operator who is experienced with DMR who might could help me to program my DMR HT. It is a Radtel Rt-4D. Don't know whether it is a good radio or not for the DMR. I got it before I knew ANYTHING about DMR so I suppose that was a mistake on my end. I may have to reinvest in a reputable brand, the more I study about DMR. I have been doing some "homework" on the subject but have a long way to go 😂. Anyway, I received your message about the DMR Net on Friday evenings and that it interested me, and thought I would introduce myself. If I could get my DMR radio programmed, I would like to take part in the DMR Net. What frequencies do operate mainly on FR8? At the present time I am a Technician Class Operator so I'm limited to 10 Mtrs as far as FT8 goes , but studying for my General ticket. Take care. Hope to work you on FT8 one of these days. 73, Gregg Thacker De, N5LYS... Collapse
